为使我院学生对赴美带薪实习项目有更深入的了解，10月28日晚，赴美带薪实习讲座在励志楼D408顺利举行。国际教育中心项目负责老师、Each Future 北京办事处张雄常经理、国际交流协会所有成员以及各个大型社团的代表参加了此次讲座。大会由外语系刘园园同学担任主持。
在这次宣讲会上，Each Future 北京办事处张经理首先就“参加赴美带薪实习项目的原因和目的”、“怎样参加该项目”以及“参加该项目时应注意的问题”三方面做了详细的讲说；接着对WAT项目做了深入分析，介绍该项目优势，以实际例子承诺同学们在参加过程中的利益和安全。
随后，参加我院第一届WAT项目的黄河杰、曾明珠同学分别上台发言。他们说：“参加赴美带薪实习项目，是一次丰富的经历。踏上美国国土，既能体验美国的风土人情与文化背景，又可以提高自己的英语交际能力，体验难忘的人生经历。此外，在美国工作时，同学们通过自身的努力，克服语言、生活等方面的困难，使自己知识与能力得以提升。”
整个讲座持续了3个小时，但同学们的热情不减，讲座结束后，还有许多同学主动留下来咨询项目的具体情况，积极参与报名。

The WAT Seminar Was Held Successfully
In order to make our students know more about WAT, we succeeded in holding the seminar of WAT in D408, Lizhi building on Oct. 28th, 2010. The teachers who are responsible for the program in International Education Center, the Each Future Manager Zhang Xiongchang in Beijing office and all members in International Association and representatives of all major associations had participated in this seminar. The lecture was chaired by Liu Yuanyuan who was from the Foreign Language Department.
In this seminar, Mr. Zhang, the Each Future Manager of Beijing office, had firstly made a specific speech about “the reasons and aims for the WAT”, “how to take part in this program” and “precaution”. Then, he made a deep analysis of the WAT program and showed us the advantages. What’s more, he also used some practical examples to make commitments for the students about the topic of interests and security in the course.
Subsequently, Huang Hejie and Zeng Mingzhu who took part in the first WAT program gave a splendid speech respectively. They said: "Attending WAT enriched their experience. When they set foot on American, both of them were not only experiencing the American customs and cultural background, but also they could improve their English communication skills and had an unforgettable experience in their life. Besides, when they were working in American, they stood on their own feet to overcome language difficulties and other aspects of life, so that their knowledge and abilities can be improved. "
The seminar lasted for 3 hours, however, the students were enthusiastic all the time. After the end of the lecture, many students stayed to consult the specific details of WAT program and registered actively.
