2010年2月，廖榕就董事长和杨维高级顾问到英国伦敦城市大学交流访问。为加强广东商学院华商学院与英国伦敦城市大学的相互了解与沟通，推进两校间的合作与交流，伦敦城市大学招生与国际发展部主任毕马克（Mark Bickerton）、东亚地区总监屈敏女士和中国办公室项目经理李斌先生一行三人于3月21日至3月22日回访我院。
廖榕就董事长、杨维高级顾问、陈玉川院长会见了英国伦敦城市大学代表，对来访客人表示了诚挚的欢迎。杨维高级顾问、陈玉川院长和丘兆福副院长带领外宾参观了校园、介绍了学院情况。伦敦城市大学毕马克主任（Mark Bickerton）也向我院领导介绍了英国伦敦城市大学的发展历史和概况。双方进行了友好地会谈，对校际交流与大专升本科、本科升硕士项目等合作进行了讨论并达成共识。该校际交流为华商的大专毕业生和本科毕业生开辟了一个出国留学深造的途径。

Friendly Exchange between HSC and London Metropolitan University
In February 2010, our president Mr. Liao Rongjiu and senior consultant Mr. Yang Wei paid a visit to London Metropolitan University.
To further strengthen the mutual understanding and promote closer cooperation and communication, director Mr. Mark Bickerton, regional director Ms. Qu Min and project manager Li Bin from London Metropolitan University paid a return visit to our college from Mar 21 to Mar 22.
Mr. Liao Rongjiu, Mr. Yang Wei and the principal Mr. Chen Yuchuan met with the British visitors and gave them a warm welcome. Then Mr. Yang Wei, Mr. Chen Yuchuan and the associate principal Mr. Qiu Zhaofu showed the visitors around our campus.
After exchanging information regarding each other’s college, they focused their friendly discussions on the Bachelor’s and Master’s degree programs and finally reached a consensus which successfully offers university graduates and college graduates of Huashang College the chance to go abroad for further study.
